A Place to Belong. A Family in Faith.

WHO WE ARE

Rooted in Faith. Growing in Love.

Bethel Apostolic Church of Vaughan began with a vision from God and a small gathering of believers who were hungry to seek Him. Pastor Everald Martin and his wife, the late Mother Helen Martin, first carried this vision in their hearts while in St. Ann, Jamaica. After moving to Toronto, they continued serving faithfully at Mount Zion Apostolic Church before the Lord led them to begin something new.

On October 4, 2000, the first meeting of what would become Bethel Apostolic Church was held in a home in Thornhill. It started with just a few people—praying, studying the Bible, and believing that God had a purpose. Even when only two gathered, they continued, and God moved in powerful ways. Miracles happened, lives were touched, and the church began to grow.

What Makes Bethel Unique

Our Heart. Our People. His Presence.

Authentic Worship

Our worship is heartfelt and Spirit-led. We don’t just sing songs—we invite God’s presence to move and minister. Every service is an opportunity to encounter Jesus in a real and personal way.

Family Atmosphere

When you walk through our doors, you’re not just a visitor—you’re family. We know each other by name, support each other in trials, and celebrate together in joy. You’ll never feel like just a number here.

A Church that Prays

We believe in the power of prayer. Whether you’re facing a personal struggle or seeking God’s direction, we come alongside you with prayer, encouragement, and faith-filled support.

Big Impact

We don’t just attend church—we live out our faith daily. From community outreach to one-on-one discipleship, we’re committed to making a real difference in people’s lives.

Christ-Centered Teaching

Our messages are Bible-based, Spirit-filled, and life-applicable. Whether you're new to faith or have been walking with God for years, you'll be challenged and encouraged to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus.

Growing Together

Faith is a journey and we walk it together. Through fellowship, mentorship, and shared experiences, we encourage one another to grow in maturity, character, and love. At Bethel, no one grows alone.
